Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh and Salam Sejahtera.
Welcome Dearest Alumni!
It is heartening to note that there are quite a number of alumni who have maintained constant contact with UM since graduation. You may be in the campus to meet friends or frequent the library, or perhaps you may be involved in committee activities at Faculty or College levels for which your involvement is always welcomed and very much appreciated. But for those who may have somewhat lost touch with UM’s development and activities over the years, we at UM feel that the year 2013 should be the year to re-establish lost links and to “touch base” with one another.
As you know, the role of the alumni in any university is extremely important especially now when globalisation has driven universities into competition beyond their national borders. There is no denying that UM has had a great, glorious past and you were part of it, but the time has come for us to now ensure that UM becomes even more successful as we move into the future.
As such, i invite you to be an active member of our alumni fraternity, so that we can work together to realise UM's vision and mission. It is a great honour for me to serve the alumni fraternity and I look forward to touching base with you.
