To advance UM’s Vision and Mission among the alumni and non-alumni throughout the world through advancement activities.
IAC MISSION
To undertake strategic advancement activities via relationship building, communications, marketing and fundraising for alumni and non-alumni (corporate organisations, foundations, entrepreneurs, Emeritus Professors & Honorary Graduands).
Relationship Building
- To serve and build lifelong relationships with alumni, engaging them in achieving UM’s aspirations.
- To cultivate strategic relationships between UM and non-alumni entities such as corporate organisations, foundations, entrepreneurs, emeritus professors and honorary graduan
Communications
- Fostering effective communication between UM’s management, staff and students with alumni and non-alumni.
Marketing
- To develop and implement marketing plans and strategies to promote UM’s research, innovation, educational programmes and facilities.
Fundraising
- To develop fundraising plans, policies and strategies for philanthropic purposes.
- To be responsible for fundraising stewardship.
