When we members of UM alumni met
At the Rumah Universiti
It’s like old, old friends touching base
Our hearts filled with glee
We’re treated to a welcoming speech
And a lovely hi-tea
And together we sang a joyous UM song
In perfect harmony
Though we’ve clearly grown a lot older
We felt much the same
This university that brought us success
Deserves all the fame
Universiti Malaya has been producing
Brilliant minds and leaders
And we members of the UM alumni rise
To applaud these achievers.
